Jeremy Stover
Leadership Trainer, Executive and Team Coach

“If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.”

— John Quincy Adams

Jeremy Stover has a special talent for working with young executives, developers, and managers in the high-tech and software industry. He provides a fresh perspective to individuals and teams working in fast-paced, high-stress environments.

As a leadership trainer and an executive and team coach Jeremy brings a solution-focused systems approach to his clients. He understands the challenges of leading or being a member of a virtual team that spans the globe and is able to help his clients communicate more effectively and achieve tangible results.

Jeremy uses the Co-Active Coaching and Leadership Models with teams and individuals to develop and strengthen their personal presence, leadership, and coaching skills. In his work with teams, Jeremy uses tools to help teams create greater alignment, accountability, and performance. His clients include Google, Microsoft, Saatchi & Saatchi, Morgan Stanley, and Ogilvy Advertising.

Jeremy's background includes over 15 years of experience as a software developer and manager, working for companies including Microsoft, Goodyear Tire and Rubber, Claria, and HBS. In this role, Jeremy worked on cutting edge client/server projects, financial actuarial tools, and high-touch multimedia Flash and Silverlight applications. Jeremy also worked as Conference Director for the Flashforward Conference (www.flashforwardconference.com) in San Francisco in 2008.

Jeremy has traveled the world to watch the sun rise over Machu Pichu, to live and teach English in Chile, to dance the samba at Carnival in Brazil, to work as a translator for Goodyear Tire in Mexico City, to study philosophy from Tibetan Buddhist monks in the north of India, to hike the back-country trails of the Grand Canyon, to stay in a medieval castle in Tuscany, and travel on a cargo ship down to the tip of South America.

More recently his explorations are closer to home. Jeremy practices meditation, studies organizational culture and relationship systems, and donates his time, working with leaders in and around New Orleans, supporting their efforts to rebuild and revitalize the city post-Katrina by offering coaching and community support.

Jeremy is a principal of IdeaTribe and is on the faculty at the Coaches Training Institute, a worldwide training organization headquartered in San Rafael, California, teaching courses on coaching throughout North America and around the world. Jeremy is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), a member of the International Coach Federation, and his educational background includes a degree from Ohio University. He currently lives in San Francisco with his wife, Elyse.
